NASI GORENG HAILAM / HAILAM FRIED RICE



HAILAM FRIED RICE
recipe : mummy cha

ING
2 bowl rice - medium size bowl
1 garlic crush
1 egg - lightly beat
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
sesame oil to taste

METHODS
heat wok/pan
add some cooking oil & fry garlic, add egg & scramble
in a bowl combine rice, light soy sauce & sweet soy sauce - mix well & pour
to wok/pan & continue fry the rice till cook
off stove & add in sesame oil  - put aside



HAILAM GRAVY
10 prawn - clean them and put aside
4 squids - clean them , cut to bite size and put aside
1/2 carrot - dice / cut as desire
1/2 bunch of cauliflower
1/2 green/red/yellow bell pepper - cut & clean
1 cup cabbage
*** add fish ball or fish cake if  you like

1 garlic - chopped fine
1/2 onion - chopped fine
light soy sauce to taste
1 tbsp black thick soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
white pepper to taste
sesame oil to taste
2 tbsp corn flour dilute in 1/4 cup water (corn starch)

METHODS
heat some oil in wok / pan
fry onion & garlic till fragrance add 1/2 cup of water let it boil, then
add all vege , squids & prawn
add oyster, light & thick soy sauce
add white pepper to taste & add corn starch
boil & off stove & add in sesame oil

scoop some rice in a plate / bowl & pour hailam gravy
garnish with some spring onion.
