sambal tumis sotong / squids sambal



ING
300g of fresh squid - cleaned & cut as desire
1 onion (sliced)
1 teaspoon of belacan
3 to 4 TBS Tamarind juice
Salt & SUGAR to taste
Oil

ing to blend
3 cloves of shallot
1 clove garlic
½ inch ginger
10 - 15 dried chillies (can less if u prefer to less spicy)

METHOD
- cook squids (w/o oil)-(app. 1 min) - drained
- heat oil & saute blended ing. - (cooks tili the paste separated from the oil)
- add belacan & onion
- add tamarind juice, salt & sugar - simmer smbl until it's thicken.
- lastly add squids -(cooks for 1 min)- taste the sambal & off stove
